At We C2 IT, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data we collect from you. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Who We Are
We C2 IT Ltd
Goldcrest Lodge, Upper Hexgreave, Farnsfield, Newark, England, NG22 8LS
Company number: 12577701
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 0115 650 0655
2. What Data We Collect
When you use our website or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number (if you fill in the contact form)
- Email address and company name (if you use the pricing calculator to request an estimate)
- Business details (if you request a quote or service)
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details)
- Company-level visitor data (via Snitcher — identifies your organisation from your IP address, not you personally)
- Information you start entering into a form but don't submit (along with basic technical details like your browser and the page you're on — see below)
We only collect what we need to respond to you or provide our services.
Forms you start but don't finish. To help us pick up where you left off and get back to you faster, if you begin one of our forms — like the contact form or pricing calculator — we may keep what you've entered so far, even if you don't send it. If you've accepted cookies, we connect this to your visit so we can give you a smoother, more personal follow-up. If you haven't, we simply keep the details you entered so we can help with your enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to potential enquiries, with nothing stored on your device. We hold this information for up to 90 days, and you can ask us to delete it at any time at [email protected].
3. Why We Collect Your Data
We collect your information to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Follow up on an enquiry you started but didn't finish, so we can pick up where you left off
- Provide you with quotes, proposals, or pricing estimates
- Deliver IT services if you become a client
- Understand which types of businesses visit our website (via Snitcher)
- Improve and secure our website (using analytics and security tools)
4. How We Use Cookies
Our website uses cookies to:
- Help the site function properly (consent preference, form spam protection)
- Understand how visitors use our site (via Google Tag Manager and Snitcher, consent-gated)
- Improve security (Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact form)
You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
5. How We Keep Your Data Safe
We take data security seriously. Your data is:
- Transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) across the entire site
- Stored securely on UK-based systems
- Accessed only by authorised staff
- Protected by encryption and standard security measures
We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Request that we correct or delete your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Request your data in a portable format
To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Third-Party Tools and Data Sharing
We use trusted service providers to help run our website and respond to enquiries. These may process your data on our behalf, but only for the purposes stated:
- Snitcher B.V. (Netherlands) — B2B visitor identification
- Google LLC (USA) — Tag management (GTM), website analytics (Google Analytics 4), advertising measurement and conversion tracking (Google Ads) (see Section 9 for additional Google API integrations related to publishing on Google Business Profile)
- Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — Form spam protection (Turnstile)
- SendGrid / Twilio Inc. (USA) — Transactional email delivery for contact form and pricing calculator responses
Where data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
We do not share your data with any other third parties unless required to do so by law.
8. How Long We Keep Your Data
We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary:
- For enquiry-related data: up to 24 months unless you become a client
- For information entered into a form but not submitted: up to 90 days
- For client data: as per contractual and legal requirements
- For visitor tracking data (Snitcher): up to 12 months
- For cookie consent preferences: 12 months
9. Social Media Integrations
We publish content to our official business profiles on third-party social media platforms using their official APIs. Specifically:
- LinkedIn — we publish posts to the We C2 IT company page using LinkedIn's Marketing Developer Platform / Community Management API. We may also retrieve our own page's performance analytics and comment activity for internal reporting. Our use complies with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use.
- X (formerly Twitter) — we publish posts to the We C2 IT account using X's API. Our use complies with X's API Terms of Service.
- Google Business Profile — we publish updates to the We C2 IT Google Business Profile listing using the Google Business Profile API. Our use complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements for Google API services.
- Facebook / Meta (future) — when activated, we will publish posts to the We C2 IT Facebook page using Meta's Graph API in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms.
Content we publish is created by us and reflects our brand. We do not collect, store, or process personal data of users who interact with our posts on these platforms — interactions (likes, comments, shares, follows) remain governed by each platform's own privacy policy. If we retrieve aggregate analytics from these platforms (e.g., follower counts, post impressions), the data is used solely for our own internal performance reporting and is not combined with personal data from our website.
We do not use access granted via these APIs to read, share, or process data belonging to other LinkedIn, X, Google, or Meta users.
